THREE FORTS OF PRESQUE ISLE
AND INTERPRETIVE CENTER MASTER PLAN

In 2021, Encore produced a master plan for the redevelopment of Erie, Pennsylvania's east end that included the adaptive reuse of a warehouse as an interpretive center and the recreation of French, British, and American forts that once stood on the shore of Lake Erie from the period between the French and Indian War and the War of 1812. Meticulous research went into locating where the forts once stood, their design, and a the development of a new visitor experience that recaptures the lives of the region's earliest indigenous peoples through the first quarter century of the American republic.
